'Sick of this bullshit, it's a genocide': Journalist confronts US State Dept spox over Gaza

During a daily press briefing yesterday at the US State Department, Liam Cosgrove, a journalist who writes for The Grayzone, confronted spokesperson Matthew Miller on US foreign policy and its hypocrisy over how it treats Israel compared to Russia.

In the lead-up to this heated moment, Cosgrove had contextualised his remarks by highlighting the risk of the Ukraine war quickly escalating into a nuclear one if the Ukrainian military struck particular targets inside Russia. He then questioned why the US wouldn't negotiate with Putin as it was immoral or evil to do so, yet was financing Israel's genocide in Gaza for the past year without any accountability.
