21 human rights groups have condemned FIFA's decision for Saudi Arabia to host the 2034 Men's World Cup, citing the country's human rights record and accusations of "sportswashing." Amb. Gerald M. Feierstein, director of the Arabian Peninsula Affairs Program at the Middle East Institute, joined CBS News to discuss the decision for Saudi Arabia to host.

It already happened once in Qatar and no one really cared.

I am glad Saudi got the hosting rights. Haters can cry a lake about it but it is no one's birthright that a World Cup only happens in their favorite country. If the Middle East or Asia can go to a Western country to play, then so should those countries play in Saudi.
If someone else wants it, they should have come up with a better bid to the table rather than just hatred

FIFA chooses whoever pays them the most. Their track record of taking bribes is horrendous.

The only way to stop this BS is for all the teams to boycott the events hosted by FIFA, but they won't. As long as people are selfish and lack compassion for others, nothing will ever change.
