How to Auto Save Chats on Snapchat

In this quick tech how-to video, I’m going to show you how to autosave chat on Snapchat.

Before we start, it's important to note that you can't automatically save chats permanently. You still have to do that by going into the chat and saving the chats line by line.

However, the steps I'm about to go through will allow you to automatically save the entire chat automatically for 24 hours.

To set this up, open your Snapchat account and swipe left to view the friends you're chatting with.

Press and hold on to the person or conversation you want to save.

Select "more" from the list of options then select "Delete Chats." Set this to "24 Hours after Viewing". You can now view the chat for up to 24 hours after viewing.

Now, be mindful of the fact that the other person will get a notification of this change.

And that's how your auto-save chats on Snapchat.
