Would you agree that even a law that is restrictive can increase voter turnout because of the restrictions? Which doesn't prove that the law is not restrictive!

Everybody in the United States should be able to have mail-in ballots once they prove who they are and get signed up for it.

I mail it in here in Ca. We need to have that everywhere!

The numbers are higher two days after early voting now because people now know Sundays are not allowed for voting, so obviously the numbers are going to be higher in the week, duh. This is a premature analysis of how this law will affect voting. Why can water not be given to anyone in line?

In Atlanta (high Black and Democratic population), you have to wait in line for several hours to vote, but when you go to the white (more conservative-leaning) suburbs, the lines are so much shorter.

This is great news. That being said Dan, it wasn’t and isn’t alarmist to be concerned about the motivation of today’s shameless Republicans and their motives

You have to have ID to vote. and be a US citizen when is the law.

You shouldn’t wait in huge lines is the point, it deters a ton of people from voting. You’re acting like a record is some how equates to being able to easily cast your vote. Do better

I think Georgia does a great job with voting. After Trump called the secretary of state Brad Raffensberger and demanded that he “find me 11, 780 votes”, Raffensberger refused to do that. He’s a republican trump supporter but he didn’t go along with it because he had integrity so I think Georgia voters are in good hands

Early voting numbers doesn’t mean there isn’t voter suppression happening, Dan Abrams.

So much for "voter suppression".

Dose anyone else remember the Georgia republikan secretary of State, removing 55, 000 ballet at the last minute of minorities that cost Stacy Abrams the election? How can you be A candidate and the referee at the sometime? Talk about conflicts of interest.

The issue is WHO IS DENIED A VOTE. You’ll never be able to quantify how many didn’t vote because of long lines or being kicked off the rolls. If everything is fine, then why do you care or what harm are they doing? Donald Trump claimed he won the last election because he received more than he did in the previous election. YOU’RE falling into the same trap. Just because more people have voted THREE WEEKS before the election than last year - DOES NOT MEAN THAT THERE IS NOT VOTER SUPPRESSION

Crazy. It's almost like we were given something to vote against and we're jumping through hoops now.

I live in Georgia. The voting numbers are not because the rules are not of concern but in spite of the inconveniences. It makes it harder for the disabled and the elderly. I thought you would be fair. You are not.

Don't forget the people in Georgia who died in their attempt to vote under Jim Crow 1.0. Restrictive does not mean impossible. Many citizens just try harder the more restrictions put in place. Whenever my mom hid the cookie jar we just worked harder to find it and ate more cookies in the end. Human nature. Restrictions still exist.

If Georgia wanted everyone to vote then they would allow mail in ballots. People are voting to protect democracy. People are fed up with partisan hacks like Dan.
