People dont really want to hear this, but this is a very sensible approach to earning wealth over a 10 year period. Problem is people want to do it in a fraction of the time and then end up over leveraging themselves. Great video👏🏽

Very impressive. I like the fact that as you go along the time taken to afford the deposit for your next property is less. It’s starting to compound. Nice one!

I really thought you were going to start singing when you said “this is how they do it”. Great advice as usual buddy. 👏👏👏

Loved the concept and the video…but the maths for reaching 1M was missing….would have been nice to show it using a timeline with the growth in capital and income to prove the theory 🙏🙏🙏

Another great video Perry. Time in the market just makes so much difference, still kick myself for so many wasted years. But hey, can’t change the past, just needs I need to invest harder now.

Brill video mate! Quick question if I can? Do you budget for minor repairs ie painting, fixing units etc before you can rent the property out?

The problem I have is that I'm already a (relatively) high earner, in the 40% bracket. When I look at the maths of BTL mortages, I don't end up earning enough from it to justify it thanks to the 40% tax. Perhaps you could do a video on that? And also, a video explaining everything that gets a cut of your profit? So income tax, CGT, management fees (if any), maintenance, etc. Thanks.

I see your point about the high return on property, BUT finding seriously undervalued property is very hard to do. Owners and real estate agents know how much property is worth.

Whereas finding undervalued stocks is relatively easy. There are always undervalued stocks available. Plus once the stock is bought, the gains are nearly effortless (if one can be patient). Being a property owner requires more effort.

That being said, I invest in both property and stock.

Hi Perry. I like your positive energy and can do attitude, although there is one or two things I'd like to mention. I'm also a landlord and I also did these 'guesses' with my numbers, I'm just saying that you're kinda telling someone how easy it is to bake a cake before you've baked your own cake.
Interest rates rising, more 'selective licences' from the government and 1 or 2 nasty tenants are going to flatten this '1 million in 10 years'
Don't count your chicks before they've hatched. Still love what you're doing though and best of luck to you 🤞

Just one point in relation to the long term ISA investment strategy. £1m in 40 years may only be worth around the same as £125k today. Still a lot of money but not nearly as life changing as £1m.
