Well.. kinda. Here are my thoughts on the Nikon Df, what I'd like to see out of the Df2, and how Fuji have stolen some of the thunder with their excellent X range

Genius! Great Minds! 5 minutes ago I left a comment on another DF video that said I would seriously look at a Nikon APS DF that has a bit of a feel of an f series cam. Didn't think about smaller & use an adapter. I love using my Fuji's with various adapters.

Nikon will see the old day glory again if they come up with a full-frame mirrorless Df2. It will be the first retro style full frame mirroless.

Very entertaining review. I grew up on film, Leica (iiif), Nikon (FE and FM) and Mamiya 645. I HATED dealing with menus, auto everything and especially the price tag on the digital camera. I had to suck it up and ended up with a higher end "point and shoot" Cannon digital (nice little camera but slow and menu dependent) while searching for something in my price range I could live with. I WANTED MANUAL DIALS, in the worst way. Along came the Fuji 100. Still couldn't afford one, but we were moving in the right direction. Then the Fuji X-Pro2 came out and, lo and behold, the X-Pro1 became affordable so I snatched one up and I was in heaven. Rangefinderish, manual controls and I can adapt my collection of Nikon lenses! Next thing I know I see a Nikon Df review. Yes, they did not care for it, but it sounded like it was right up my alley. I looked on line and again found one I could actually afford AND it will mount and work with just about any lens made for Nikon from the 50s to today. Again I'm in heaven. I LOVE the feel and the options of dial or menu controls. I do wish it had swapable focus screens and a split prism rangefinder like my FE and FM. But we all have to make allowances don't we. A HAPPY PHOTO CAMPER.

Super frustrating, huh? The Df is an awesome camera that just really missed the mark design-wise. I bought one used, and I love it. Shoots all my old lenses beautifully and makes incredible images. I just wish it had the same size and form factor as my old F3 or FM. The only other huge goof-up on the Df is the placement of the exposure compensation dial and the mode dial. Nikon really should have switched them. As to your desire for crop-sensor, sorry, I disagree. I love shooting all my lenses full-frame as they were intended. It is a treat after APS-C all this time.

Nikon also needs to include an in-camera focus motor for their screw focus lenses (i.e., AF and AF-D), some of which are still in production today (e.g., the famous 200mm f4 micro-Nikkor AF-D, 105mm/135mm f2 DC-Nikkor AF-D, etc.). But in fact, I think the biggest energy consumption and electronics guts comes from the LCD display...I could do without that, it would be like the old days, where you have to download to see the photos.

Yes. It's now 2019 and we're still waiting for the Nikon Df2. And now QXD cards are going away. Bad for D500s and D850s. What a mess. Nikon needs to build a Df2 now more than ever don't you think?
