Sansi 8 LED 36W Motion Sensor Flood Light Install

The Sansi 36 watt motion detector flood light is great for replacing those old style motion detectors. Easy to install with the typical 3 wires (white, black, and neutral). The light has options for motion detection range, LUX settings for light detection, and time on. This thing really does shine bright.

The LUX contro knob does not control how bright the light gets. It is for brightness sensitivity. Another words how dark does it have to be before the light starts working and how light does it have to be before the light stops working.
Ideal for shady locations so the light doesn't stay on all the time.

LUX does not equate to Lumens, as described in the manual. Also, your lights are upside down. The longer section of the hoods are the top.

How does this light do during cold weather? The one I have (Costco) stays on when it's cold.
Thanks

There upside down the rain guard taper a wider taper goes to the top of the light. Not that it matters it's just the OCD in me.

Purchased 4 Sansi Flood Lights. Found one of them not working when during installation and I have yet installed all four. The quality control standard is low. Just hope the failure rate is no more than 25%. This product is made in China.

It looks to be upside down, I kid you not, the cowling for the LEDs is longer on one side to act as a rain protector for the tops, but from what I can tell you have it on the bottom. That motion sensor should be biased toward the bottom, not top. I do see the design of these being better suited to a vertical wall, but you are stuck with that downward and horizontal situation. 🤷‍♂️
