Warship Craft - USS Baltimore Tutorial

USS Baltimore was a heavy cruiser built in 1942 and is the lead ship of her class. Being commissioned in April 15, 1943, Baltimore went on to serve in WWII by providing supporting fire for allied invading forces. Postwar, Baltimore was part of the Magic Carpet fleet and the naval occupation force in Japan. She was recommissioned into the U.S. Atlantic Fleet and was also representing the US Navy in the British Fleet Reviewal. Interestingly, in the North Korean Victorious War Museum, they claim to have sunk Baltimore with Torpedo Boats of their Navy in July 2, 1950 but Baltimore's actual unfortunate fate was being sold for scrap in 1972.
