Yeah, right.... For every "pro-machining in the US" video I see, why is it there are four other streams featuring a manual or CNC up for sale or auction? After watching my 30 year livelihood as an all-around manual and CNC machinist get offshored to Asia for pennies-on-the-dollar, I threw away my apron, safety glasses, and either sold or scrapped my inspection tools... You might have a better chance working at home via computer at something than devoting your time and money into this trade anymore! IF you can find a decent paying job in this field in the US, best of luck! IF you can KEEP it without it being offshored or replaced by automation, more power to you! I'm done, however!
