[BNHA] Things We Lost in the Fire - Todoroki Shouto

This was an idea I got from listening to an 8tracks Todoroki playlist and this song played. It instantly clicked in my mind and this was born. 5 days of editing in a span of a month and a half or so. A lot of the scenes were timed perfectly with the music and I love it.

I was listening to this song on the bus, i was waiting for the chorus to come (my favorite part) and as i sat on the bus i saw a truck speed up next to us and actually crashed into us while we were turning, i was like 5 feet from the main point of impact, the trucks door was right next to my window. It was quite the experience, but at least i got to listen to some nice music as i watched it unfold

Izuku - Suffered for being quirkless.
Katsuki - Suffered for having to much pressure for being a prodigy.
Shoto - Suffered from the abuse he had from Endeavor, because of it's quirk being strong.

Quirks are destroying people's lifes...but saving them at the same time, it's fucking weird

Endeavor is a disgrace of a human being, however, because of that his son will be a true hero. In their world true heroes are hard to come by.

It suits hem perfectly. I'm probably reading to much into this but this kinda makes me think its from his perspective and the fire he's talking about the other part of his quirck. The fire quick reminds him of his father there for he feels like the fire made him lose the things he loved. Hints "these are the things we lost in the fire"

I hated Todoroki in the beginning during the sports festival, but when I learned about his backstory I actually felt sorry for him. Now he’s one of my favorite characters next to Deku, I love him ❤️

Shouto has NO obligation to ever forgive his dad. I personaly like where Hoshikori is taking their(=the Todoroki family's) story. I like Enji/Endeavor as a character, however I don't agree with what he has done. But I have a hard time understanding how Shouto forgave his mum so easily? She threw boiling water on his face and it permanently scarred him. From what we've seen she didn't abuse him or hurt him other than that one time. So is that it?
