Farmer's Market in Blois, France

We hit up the Loire Valley and made Blois our home base because it had a train station which would make it easy to travel the region.

While we didn't fall in love with the town (it was pretty sleepy), we did enjoy a few special things.

I think my favorite was the farmer's market where you can get really inexpensive and delicious oysters from Gerard Couteau Ostreiculteur and listen to the sounds of Georges Paltrie.

The market is on every Saturday at Place Louis XII. You can get all kinds of regional goodies, even wine.
