The Norse have successfully landed on Antarctica

Norse Atlantic Airways made aviation history by being the first to land a Boeing 787 Dreamliner in Antarctica, a milestone that followed the first-ever landing of an Airbus A340 by Hi Fly in November 2021. The Dreamliner's journey, carrying 45 passengers including researchers and 12 tons of equipment for the Norwegian Polar Institute, commenced in Oslo and concluded at Troll Airfield in Queen Maud Land after a stopover in Cape Town. This event, marking the Boeing 787's landing on every continent, was documented and shared by the airline.
