Penny Reacts to Husband Rod’s Gregg Wallace Comments | Loose Women

Last week, Rod Stewart sparked a lot of conversation when he posted on Instagram following the allegations against MasterChef's Gregg Wallace. In the post, he condemned Gregg for what he described as terrible behavior towards his wife, Penny. Penny opens up about how she felt when she saw the post and shares her own experience on MasterChef.

Rod was a nightmare. I was once outside Harrods and watched Rod scream and insult he's other wife Rachel Hunter because she spent too much money on Christmas presents!!!! The poor lady was beside herself. Maggie May isn't exactly a female friendly song even if it is sung beautifully with a great tune the words are humiliating. I worked at the BBC many moons ago and the place was full of vipers then.

For Rod to use physical characteristics as an insult is somewhat immature, and surely Penny could and should have said something at the time as her job would not have been at risk.

If you truly want to be a protective husband, say something when the incident happened as clearly your wife was more “upset” then and you should do something about it. Otherwise, voice it when someone was targeted, it’s called backstabbing.

I’m not a fan of Pennys as I’m not entirely convinced how much she brings to the table. I fully understand why Rod would want to protect her but it would have been much better had he done so at the time - and not years later when everyone else is having a pop.

Penny insulted many men with her criticism of obese men and those with thinning hair. Just how humiliating and superficial were her own comments, both likely to cause distress and to be intimidating? Shame on such an unpleasant woman for her thoughtless and cruel opinions!

Not a great comment Rod made i can see he wanted to defend his wife but not a great choice of words made himself look like a childish bully as well.. ..Went to see rod in concert and he walked off towards the end because of a bit of rain ..everybody wondered where he had gone because of such an abrupt ending..What words have a got to use for that then Diva, spoilt brat who didn't like a bit of rain, old fool🤔I could go on and on!...I really do think people tend to put these celebrities/stars on pedestals and they begin to believe they are untouchable god like figures and can get away with anything, but a lot of there pasts/actions are coming back to bite them in the a@@
