1.Feels like home is a really good song. It does take you back a little bit to the good old era when the pop industry was booming. Also, totally agree it's the kind of song with a chill laid back kind of vibe. The harmonizing makes it the kind of song you want to jam to with your friends as evident by your reaction towards the end hahahah. That was cute :) Here are meanings of words you were confused about in this song.
Nijaat means to be free of something. "Kya ab tere zulm se nijaat hai?" Am I free from your oppression/tyranny now? Afsurdagi means sadness. "Mai jis sheher ka hon, jaana log hanste hain meri afsurdagi pai" The city where I am from, people laugh at my sadness.

2. Ngl, kinda surprised that drill is your favorite type of beat. So Ded is a sequel to a song called Khulasa(also featured Shareh but was produced by Umair) which had been highly requested for over two years now. Part of the reason that song was so popular was because of jani's unique take on drill via his melodies. It was kinda unheard of before and the song was very well received by the audience as well as fellow artists like JJ47 and TY etc. You should definitely listen to that one as well, it is one of my favorite jani tracks. Some meanings that you were confused about, Adeeb means writer. So, "Safeh to bharney hi wajib thay, adeebon mai gina karo" It was mandatory for him to fill up the pages and now that he has done that we should count him among the writers. If you wanna listen to more of Pakistani drill, Umer Anjum, Shareh, Savage have done some excellent tracks that I'm sure you'll love. One song that you will particularly enjoy judging by your reaction today is forevermore by Shahrehxsuperdupersultan. I don't wanna give away too much but it's exactly two of your fav things mixed together haha.


3. Faded. The placement of this song in the setlist is absolutely perfect at number 6. It's the mid point of the album and the listener heads into the next part with a bright smile on their face. It literally is that song. The perfect breather after the ride that jani takes us on for the first 5 songs getting us excited with excellent heavy bars, sad vibes, deep poetry, a jamming sesh with the mates and a shoutout to ops that he can destroy them anytime he wants while still staying true to the melodies. Just perfect. I warned you in the previous video that jani will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions and vibes in this album. Glad to see you aren't disappointed and are enjoying hahaha :)

You are bang on about deserving artists like jani not getting their due respects. I think part of the reason he isn't so popular among the masses is because his songs aren't everyone's cup of tea. Some people just don't appreciated the melodies enough. That's not a knock on him, his pen game is definitely up there with the best. You haven't explored much of Taimour Baig yet but when you do it, you'll understand what kind of songs public perceives well in Pakistan. It's great tho that you are reacting to this album, it helps the cause. More people might listen to him because of you and thats great. Another artist that doesn't get his flowers is Shareh. He is absolutely amazing, has already released an album called Attachments and it is a melodic masterpiece. You should give it a listen, the songs will absolutely blow your mind. And sad to say, it just hasn't reached the people enough. The song is amazing, do listen to it. But the point is there are many other underrated artists out there whose work people are missing out on. I totally agree that at times one does feel sad that a song that you so thoroughly enjoy and know that other people will enjoy too, isn't popular coz people don't know it even exists. There was another underrated band by the name of Uraan who have recently gone viral because of one of their songs trending on reel called "Tu hai kahan". I listened to this song when the night it was released and it instantly made me sad that people would never know this gem exists since uraan hardly had 10k subscribers then. Thanks to tik tok and insta, that number crossed 100k a couple days back. maybe one day jani, shareh and all the underground deserving artists will also get their due recognition. Till then, you keep helping them Ashmita :) God bless
