Indian Airforce should introspect how China managed with same imperfect engines . They did not insist on a single engine aircraft as a intermediate step to 5th generation? They used twin engine aircraft with imperfect engines. Why can’t India do the same? The manufacturing and scientific capacity is same in India as in China. Their Air Force has a pragmatic approach- our Air Force has an Idealistic approach. China knows how to step by step develop even with imperfect engines. India is chasing perfection. That is the problem. It is purely Indian Airforce approach problem.
