Late November 2021. Flyover under Gullinbrú (Gullin means Golden and Brú means bridge in Icelandic). It is a famous bridge in Reykjavik, that connects the city center with northern district of Grafavogur, named after the bay that you see in the video. The bay is characterized by a special greenish-turquois colours of its waters. There are numerous hiking and biking trails around this bay and a small forest at bay´s end. Grafarvogur bay hiking area is easily reachable from Reykjavik city center by Lane 6 to the bus stop Gullnbrú (Golden Bridge).

---------------
"Grafarvogur is among the largest residential districts of Reykjavík, Iceland. It is a relatively new neighbourhood, major construction began in the late 1980s and continued well into the 1990s.The district includes 14 neighbourhoods: Hamrar (06:02), Foldi, Hús, Rimar, Borgir, Víkur, Engi, Spöng, Staðir, Höfðar, Bryggjuhverfi (07:44), Geirsnef, Gufunes, and Geldinganes (island). Of those, five (Rimar, Hamrar, Borgir, Víkur and Foldir) fall within the boundaries of historic Gufunes estate. Grafarvogur currently has one medium-sized shopping centre called Spöngin. It's not a mall in itself but a cluster of stores, Hagkaup being the largest. Also, there are small clusters of stores in Hverafold, by Víkurvegur and Langirimi Streets. Those are much smaller and contain only a few stores, the supermarkets being the largest of the few...

Grafarvogur is demarcated by the mouth of Elliðaár river in the west, the contested area in the south and Vesturlandsvegur highway in the east, Mosfellsbær municipality to the north and the Atlantic Ocean. The neighborhood is being populated and is still under construction. There is one church in the neighborhood, Grafarvogur Church. The postal code in Grafarvogur is 112. In 2017, the population of Grafarvogur was just under 18,000. Grafarvogur derives its name from the farm Gröf, which is now destroyed but stood at its heart, at Grafarækur brook south of Keldur....-- Info from Wikipedia

PS I used to live in this neighbourhood for 8 years:)

I really liked the "fly under" the bridge at the opening of the video. Thank you for including the written excellent and detailed narrative to explain what we are seeing.

🎉🎉New Year Blessings to You and Nina!! 🌟🌟✨✨💖💖
You guys blessed us here on youtube this past year with PHENOMENAL footage of 2 historic volcano eruptions here on planet earth. You guys are amazing human beings, I love flying over Iceland with you, and I so look forward to 2022 and the magic this year brings. Prayers to my fellow Americans suffering from the loss of homes due to fire and tornados, Prayers to Canada folks who are hurting inside from the floods. My heart is with La Palma, the Congo, and parts of South America. It's been one crazy year here on planet earth!!! I'm praying super hard we see some miracles, and blessings in 2022. Much love to you!! Thank you as always.
