Great night out... I love the fact that you keep your fish. It absolutely gives me grief to watch these catch and release videos... bunch of rich boys bragging about the size of the monsters they can pull out... it is just so stupid. This is a great tip. I've often wondered about fishing near the rocks at the end of a beach.

Reminds me of the time I was visiting a mate and his other beach rods were in the shop. He gave me his niece’s little pink rod with a grin. He caught nothing that afternoon while I pulled in three bream and a monster flathead .

When you're landing a fish stay on the sand, keep your rod low and beach the fish using a wave as opposed to walking into the water with rod high and fish thrashing around on the surface. You will land more this way ❤
