Longest Cambridge line ever seen!

This was the Ben & Jerry's in Porter Square, Cambridge, MA.

The funny thing is that it was a very cold spring day! But this did not hold people back. Ice cream is ice cream. And when it's free it's even tastier. That's what happens on Free Cone Day.

The first Ben & Jerry's Free Cone Day was in 1979. It was in Burlington, VT where the company opened the first store.

There are now 558 stores in the world.

The company claims that in 2015 it gave out 1,000,000 free scoops. And that 2025 "is sure to be our best Free Cone Day yet."

Not bad.
