Lester was a pedigree Border Terrier who had Canine Epiliptoid Cramping Syndrome. He was a much loved family pet and companion who is sadly missed. Lester died in 2015 from liver failure.

The episodes he exhibits in this video lasted for about ten minutes. As far as we know, they occurred perhaps two or three times a year. He did not exhibit any distress after each episode, and recovered with no obvious ill-effects.

The video is posted hoping that others might someday be able to cure this condition.

I'm freaking out. My dog is doing this and I have never seen it before. I was at work all day and came home to him behaving oddly like this. There was some trash missing from the kitchen... It's as if he can't put his weight on his legs and they are stiff. When he stands he sways back and forth in short strokes. He's a plott hound, bigger than your pup so Idk if that's why the sway is more noticeable on your dog or if my dog is having a mild seizure??? Please let me know what you think :(
