I came across your channel randomly on Youtube and found all of your videos quite interesting. You convey the points with such an eloquence that I could not help myself watch all of your videos. You are doing a great service to all those, especially to students, studying in non-English speaking countries where English is followed officially and where good English skills can turn to be a stepping stone for pursuing an influential career. I would pay tribute to the service you are rendering online with this sentence. If I got a chance to meet you, I would give a huge shout-out to you on behalf of all those students who are learning grammar from your online videos. (Please highlight a grammatical flaw in the sentence I wrote.) I personally am a student studying International Relations and usually write articles for English newspapers in my country i.e. Pakistan. Writing is my passion. I am obsessed with having a grip on English grammar and that drives me to watch videos about grammar on Youtube. By the way, just as an aside, since you are a native English speaker and a University English teacher, I am curious to know whether you can give me feedback about some of my published articles, especially with respect to the style I follow in them, if I share some of them with you. I am looking forward to watching more interesting videos on your channel and am desperately waiting for your reply.

This video lecture is differ from other eng lectures video. Video wasn't boring, it was full of knowledge. If I had time, I'd watch all related videos. But one thing is there, the video was going very fast.

Sorry, Leila, why you use the comma in the second conditional and not use in 1st conditional?

my question is why native use would without if clause like going to england would be great or that would be incorrect to say. it would not right to choose this word here.

Hi Leila. Thanks for your awesome work. I would like to ask you a question: Do you think that in spoken, informal British English it is MORE common to use WAS than the subjunctive WERE??? Do most people prefer to say "If he WAS my brother, I would tell him" to the more conventional "If he WERE my brother, I would tell him"??? I have read, and you have made clear that it is acceptable and considered correct. What I am not so sure is whether it has become more common, apart from academic, formal writings... Please, send me an answer. THANKS!
