Steve performed his recording of this classic song at the San Antonio Texas Billy Graham Crusade, held in April of 1997. Steve's dynamic voice is brilliant as always! It really brings the powerful message of this song home.

Steve's former credits include being a part of the group TRUTH, a founding member of the Gaither Vocal Band as their tenor, and the former lead singer of the Christian Rock band, White Heart.

It's ironic that Friedrich Schiller, who wrote the original poem in German, regarded it as a failure later in his life, calling it "detached from reality." Beethoven's tune certainly buoyed its popularity. And praise the Lord for Steve's life in ministry with songs such as this one.
