Slime Chunks are the Same in Every World in Minecraft

In every world in Minecraft there are slime chunks that spawn slime below y level 40. In Minecraft Bedrock Edition, every slime chunk is the exact same, no matter what seed you use for the world. This means that if you find a slime chunk from a website like Chunk Base, then you will be able to get slime in all of your worlds!

all i need is 15 slime balls for my villager trade hall. ive been looking in every single goddamn slimechunk near me, every trial chamber for slimes, checked every single wandering trader for slimeballs, I Even traveled 7k blocks on foot to a swamp biome and got NO SLIMES. i'm going insane

I think slimes are the most rarest mobs you can see (except superflat)

That explains… a lot, once I switched over to Java I was overjoyed to finally get my hands on sticky pistons

Yes, i have strip-mined a 500 block 3x3 mine in survival at y-level -55, and i have gotten a total of only 20 diamonds (i hated it)

Dont play bedrock unless you are on console

This is only true for Bedrock edition. In Java they are completely random coordinates

it doesnt work: Im under y 40, in the right chunk, it is 4 blocks tall and illuminated... why dont slimes spawn?
