I use the Pro-Ject Wallmount-It 5.
Because its mounted to the wall, it doesn't make any contact to the floor or other furniture, so resonance get reduced.
It's very solid and it exactly fits one regular sized turntable (like an SL-1200 or ATLP-120).
The MDF plate can be leveled by screws underneath, between the plate and wall is a small gap for cables to go through.

Best video I've seen for the Line Phono. I just acquired a Sony STR-D1011 and finding something that holds it is tough.

I'm blessed with space aplenty, so storage solution options for me are vastly superior than for others. Luckily, this also means the cost of storage is much more affordable.

I picked up the X-Height model turntable station from Line Phono based on your recommendation. I put a review up on my Instagram but one of the biggest issues with this model is the height of the two record storage shelves at the bottom. They are an inch too short to fit vinyl boxsets. We have a lot of boxsets and I thought this would be perfect to store them and yet only two of our boxsets fit, the rest are too tall. There should be no reason why we couldn't get another half an inch or so in height on the shelves. Also, if you're shuffling records down below while a record is playing it is very easy to cause the needle to skip. As for record storage, we use the LP BIN 2 models, they are PERFECT front-facing storage for records, although because of the size I can understand if folks in apartments, especially in NYC, don't have room to use these for large collections. Great video!

I am lucky enough to have a big enough space that allows me to keep my equipment on a ikea 4x2 with some custom legs. I like both of your recommendations tho both look great!

Bought that original line phone. Use one of the big shelves for my receiver and tapedeck and use that small shelf for cds.

Record storage is a deep hole, I got a few nice storage pieces from the 1970s like the Solid wood Lane Door Cabinet, Love it and can never part with it, hard to find indeed.

The fact that you released this video just know was strange to me... and it it only because I have spent the last days looking for a way to change my setup... so, it is nice to watch your video now. I have a Kallax 2x2, and a separate cube (just 1). On top of the Kallax I have my TT... but I recently got a cassette deck and now I need something to put the deck on. I have look for another single cube that I could put on top of the one I already have, and then these 2 cubes would be right next to my 2x2... making a 3x2 setup, everything leveled, then I could place the cassette deck right next to my TT... and all happiness. But I have not found a good single shelf, by reading reviews I am not convinced for any of the ones I have found.

I was also thinking in changing all my current storage shelves for a 3x2... that would fit perfectly and it solve the problem entirely. BUT, surprisingly, there is no Kallax 3x2, and I don't understand why... there is a 4x2, which would not fit, and a 3x3, which would place my TT (by putting it on top of the shelves) at a level higher than what I would like to...

So. My head is spinning and still have not found something I am really happy with... I may look into your suggestions... although they are a little more expensive than what I was planning to invest.

Thanks for the video! It is a big help to my research.

One other solution for receiver/lp storage in one. Take a Kallax 4x4 cube. When you put it together leave out one of the shorter shelves. What you should have left is 2 cubes on the bottom and one big open space on the second shelf instead of 2 more cubes. Make sure you place the Kallax on the proper side where the one long shelf is going left to right and one smaller board is vertical. That way it is more than strong enough to support any receiver. Here is an example of how I did it one time.

What I also did in this video is I bought a besta door from ikea which is suppose to go on a entertainment center. I put four Ikea legs on it (that were suppose to be for a kitchen piece at ikea lol) and that allowed me to make a space where I could put my cd player under the receiver on the same shelf. See even though you can see it there are two cubes of records below the receiver and cd player

...and really you make this space with 2x4 cube too. Leaves you with 2 cubes of records and receiver on top row, and four cubes of records on the bottom.

Some systems have connectors on the top and bottom of the units and must be stacked so that the connectors mate up and make the connections between the parts of the system one example of this is the MARANTZ 143 system.

I just have my turntable on top of one of those better homes and garden organizer from walmart. Of course I have all my reecords in my kallax. It has lasted me 5 years. I like the way the linephone one looks though.

Didn't realise speakers on the same surface as the receiver and turntable could cause an issue. That's where I have mine, as I have a tiny apartment and don't have any other options. I was going to wall mount them but I have neighbours upstairs and don't want to have to resort to playing my music at a really low volume to not piss them off. Going to have to have a think on this one. I also use a kallax. I have a 2x4 going horizontally, with another horizontal 1x4 on top, with my set up on the top of that.

Ordered the line phono
They canceled the order said they were out of stock in Canada and could ship it with DHL.
Terrible experience
