Nice update Jeff. Thanks for the quick update. Useful to know for planning etc. I hope your still making these videos in 10 years when I’m retiring!

My wife just got a health insurance quote. She's 54, she has had some medical problems. The quote was for $1, 250 a month. That is a big consideration!

Congress is stating social security will either be bankrupt by 2033 or 30% less than what is being paid out now. I, like so many, have paid into this and will be severely affected when our time comes to retire. Everyone needs to call their congressman and tell them to act now to save our social security!!!

Hello, does anyone think that the government has some statisticians that figured out that incentivizing a delay in taking SS benefits benefits the government as people die as they age prior to them realizing any benefits of getting higher benefits.

Such a crappy return especially for People that make six figures to the cap.

The question about delaying that I have : if SS benes go up every yr you delay, if you continue to work, doesn't that money also raise you benefit too? So ur paying in from 62 to 67 by continuing to work, but the benefits themselves are increased because (1) your delaying, and (2) your continuing to work to increase employer and your monet paid in, so you contributing twice amd therefore getting much more, rather than nit working but delaying?

I'm 61 years old and I'm about to apply for SSDI. Just wondering what my odds of getting approved. Been working my entire life and qualify for $2, 750

Are there any bend point changes coming? I saw something about a new bend point 5 or 10% being introduced in 2024. Is that true or just another scare tactic?
