Beyond the Hype: Intro to LLMs & Embeddings (Using Everything Open Source)

Recording of a talk I gave on June 5th, 2024 in Vancouver, Canada. It's a short crash course in AI with the purpose to demystify Large Language Models (LLMs) & Embeddings, using everything open source. My goal is to equip people to think of LLMs as just another tool in their toolkit, ready to be used in creative ways to various ends.
