That 2D art is some of my favourite Sonic art of all time, you can tell how it lead to the Adventure art work style. Sonic in really cool poses giving the feeling like the whole piece is in motion. Love it so much! That 3D front view tho? That’s what nightmares are made of. Remember seeing it for the first time as a kid and thinking “why the hell is he looking at me like that ☠️” 😹😹

I love Sonic 3D Blast with all my heart, but the European box art just doesn't do it for me. I've heard it was made using a clay model which was then digitized, but I don't know what they were thinking when they made that lmao.

Why does this look like a slasher movie poster ? At least the ones where it's a face shot of the scary-looking slasher villain.

Also the design Sonic had in the JP artworks of Sonic 3D Blast (and maybe even Sonic Jam?) is super underrated.
