History of PCR

From its birth Polymerase Chain Reaction, PCR, changed the molecular biology world. In 1983 Kary Mullis conceived the concept of PCR while driving along Highway 128, en route to Mendocino County. While working at Cetus Corporation, Kary Mullis uses a SAM I DNA synthesizer from Biosearch Technologies to test his hypothesis, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Thirty years later, Biosearch respectfully commemorates the development of a technique that swiftly answered previous DNA chemistry problems with, as Kary Mullis describes, "Abundance and distinction." From a legacy of DNA synthesis to the future of PCR, Biosearch Technologies empowers inventors and visionaries.

Kary warned us that Fauki is unscrupulous. He explained how X37 amplification gives a high false positive rate. We are being manipulated

Don’t forget that Kary Mullis died 5 months before the start of the epidemic, strange...

The high numbers are due the the pcr test being manipulated to give high numbers. The pcr test has a 'test cycles count' which can be adjusted in the testing lab; its a 'sensitivity' adjuster. the pcr inventors say a test cvcle count of 23 is about right. To give an example, just say a sample of people was tested with a pcr cycle count of 23, and the results were one positve 'case'. If the pcr cycle count was set to 24, you would get 10 cases, if set to 25, 100 cases, if set to 29, one million The sensitivity of the test goes up by a factor of ten each time you increase the test cycles by one. Authorities have been using test cycle counts of 35 to 40; this is just criminal. They can adjust the test sensitivity to give any scare-numbers that they need to justsify anything they want to do.

Interesting, only a shame that the speed is só high. English is not my native language. I'm using the YT app on my iPhone. So when I stop te video to be able to read a buch of YT buttons are in front of the text,

Lots of info packed into 3 minutes. Kinda superficial (and fast) for those of us who want to dig deeper, but 'it's a good start." Kinda marketing-esque...I'm fascinated though and wish UI had studied bio. How does one get involved, after 40?
