I think it depends on the situation. I'm older, dated a guy in my 20s. Reconnected with him a few decades later and realized he was the love of my life and I'd made a life altering mistake by breaking up with him the first time. Because of that realization, I feel a lot of pain thinking about the other women that he dated in between. It's more regret and envy than jealousy, but I own my feelings. To deny them would be lying to myself. I don't find that immature, I find it Human.
