good video, shows components in reasonable detail, I have very cheap version of this from aliexpress, some issues.
Even with charger applied cannot be reliable, red light slow flashing mode for connect fades quickly even with charger, I'm guessing capacitor problem? I see one large capacitor on the board maybe its the problem.
But I bought two and both not really reliable enough, price was very low and quality also very low, not really useable.
one thing to note if no connection: must be on slow flashing red light, not fast flashing, use mode button to change slow/fast rate of red light tiny tiny like the blue lights ( which show charging)

Mine doesn’t have the ir sensors. Has the holes but no sensor. Most are made like that. In the app it just goes grey
