For this list, we’ll be looking at the moments within the franchise that became funny, awkward, or just plain depressing to look back on. Our countdown includes the CGI Zords from “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie” (1995), Trakeena’s Invasion from “Power Rangers Lost Galaxy” (1999), a sequel bait reference to Tommy Oliver in “Saban’s Power Rangers” (2017), and more! I was 7 when the original Power Rangers first aired in 1993 & I remember the marketing for it got me looking forward to it so much that I managed to convince my mother to give me the day off school so I could watch it because I wouldn't have been home in time to see it others. She agreed on the condition I had to help her out in the morning with her delivery round. Good times. Haha.

I personally would like to see a list breaking down the differences between original Japanese Super Sentai and Power Rangers.

Personally I think they should’ve had Thrax as Lord Zedd’s brother instead of his son. That would’ve made more sense.

Pua’s haunting vision was prophetic. 🥺 RIP Pua Magasiva

To be fair, when Bulk & Skull were taken by Divatox, they were trying to get to the secret mission in France. You can tell if you listen to their dialogue.

Power rangers...the good ol' show I loved as a kid. Awesome heroes but cardboard/rubber villains

7:49 Pua Magasiva should have gone to a therapist and sort out his issues at the time.

You know what really didn't age well? The show as a whole.

I thought Power Rangers Wild Force’s megzord Isis would be mentioned. You know why. Or how they actors are over acting in every series, but I guess since their target audience is children, who cares. Also Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa also aged badly. She did do a good job at making Rita more dangerous than the OG, but in recent years Banks is now just a really annoying actress. Especially after her comment about men hate strong female led movies when the Charlie’s Angels reboot flopped
I will still say the main reason 2017’s Power Rangers movie flopped is because it had stiff competition: Beauty and the Beast live action, Logan, and Kong.

Let’s hope the upcoming Power Rangers: the quantum continuum series might change that.

Well that karate move that Rocky did in which it went horribly wrong costed him his ranger career.

Here’s my issue with Lord Zed and Rita’s son…in Power Rangers in Space, all evil from that point back is wiped out in the finale. Lord Zed and Rita are turned to humans. How can they have a son after that point? Even if he was born prior, he would have been converted to human or wiped out if he was pure evil. Then again, we were led to believe Zed and Rita were pure evil so how did they even get turned into humans… while we, as kids, don’t care about continuity and didn’t put a second thoug ht into it…the producers and writers should have known we would be dissecting the storylines, character development, and overall timeline in the future. The entire PR universe gives me headaches for it’s chaotic lack of proper continuity

I remember there was a rumor about the yellow ranger dying back in the 90's and it actually came true a few years later.

Wait, you mean the guy who played Grumm and mentor Ji acted like a bad guy?!
Shocking.
...unfortunately it was in real life, not the show.
Sadly real life stuff has caused lots of problems with our heroes and villains!

It was actually ruled self defense and he’s out of jail now and has been going to the conventions again

11:35 are they using starship troopers props for the soldiers? Lol

Turbo really derailed the series. It’s very jarring with how great Zeo was. If it weren’t for Power Rangers in Space, Turbo would’ve single handily killed the whole Power Rangers franchise.

I really wish that they colud have had Tommy Oliver become the Live Action Mighty Morphin Green Ranger. He would be awesome in a battlesuit with golden armor and a Dragon Zord becoming armor for the megazord in the movie
