It really bothers me that they keep saying all these jobs were "created". Most of these jobs were not "created". They were open positions due to the pandemic.

I cannot comprehend how backfilling jobs can ever be considered even in the least bit as creating jobs. Creation by definition requires the coming of something new that did not exist before. Backfilling empty jobs that already existed, regardless of the reaon that they were emptied, is not and never can be creation.
