Hi everyone, I finally got approved for monetization in June after applying and getting rejected all the times. For those who got rejected, don't give up. Try to find out what video or content is causing the rejection (if some videos has copright claims, delete them. If you know videos you actually didn't make, delete it aswell. ) There are many things to do, but I don't have time to write it here.

I did a live stream recently (as a small channel) that was 15.5 hours long, for the hell of it. It was equal to 26 hours of viewer watch time. I deleted it almost immediately because someone told me watch time was connected to the account not to the videos. I never saw the increase even after watching my hours for the increase over the next 3 days. Rip me. I know for sure this is true what Rob is saying (1:56). Don't delete anything. Just make it private.

I just got accepted into the YPP after reaching 1000 subs (that came first) then 4000 hours last Friday. As I had already begun the process, it happened automatically and YouTube accepted me in 2 days later!!! So it's worth, even if you haven't reached the thresholds yet doing everything vidIQ tell you in preparation as I feel it will speed up the process. Further tips for those struggling to get into the YPP. Have consistent branding across all your platforms, link to these in your channel description, have playlists and basically do EVERYTHING vidIQ recommends!!
