Even though Alyson Hannigan is still working in Hollywood, why is it necessarily a bad thing if an actor steps away from the limelight? She’s been in two big tv shows that developed cult following (Buffy and How I Met Your Mother) and was also in a big movie franchise (American Pie) in which she probably had been paid enough money to live more than comfortably for the rest of her life.

She doesn’t need to star in hit after hit and would have the creative freedom to work and do whatever she wants without fearing if the projects will be flops. It’s the total ideal scenario.

Besides being consistently in the limelight and having media attention is not necessarily a good thing. Maybe she also chose to live a more private life and that’s not a bad thing.

She has the ultimate balance and the best of both worlds which is having a successful acting career and also having a more normalised private life.

It's so weird. I know and adore her as both Willow and Michelle, and I loved those characters around the same time in my life, but my brain keeps separating them and it takes me a few seconds every time to realize they were the same person.
