Top 5 Best Selling Gaming Mice - Are they Actually GOOD?

The best selling gaming mice right now are pretty surprising since I expected something a LOT different. But at the same time, some of these shouldn't be passed over because they are the most popular gaming mice. Rather, some of these are some of the best mice of all time while others are....not so great.

I would love to see a Monitor or Monitorarm round-up from amazon

This was really fun to watch and would love if this "top 5 on amazon" thing kept going and maybe even went on to other sites if possible

I'm just here for my confirmation bias with the G502 even though I've had it for years

Still rockin' my G502 Proteus Core. There's a reason the design has stayed almost identical for subsequent G502s :-)

I have had the G305 for about 2 weeks now, and it is really good. I used to use the Corsair m65, so weight wasnt much of a problem. Good video

I am using G 502 Lightspeed and after year of use i am satisfied. The main reason i chose this mouse is because of the mousewheel tilt click (which you completely forgot to mention!). I play a lot of MMORPG games so i need an extra buttons. I tried a lot of mice, but i really did not get a right memory with these numpad keyboard on the side layout. These 2 extra tilt buttons gives me flexibility. But i understand, somebody who prefer mostly FPS type of games really can't appreciate this function.

Every single mouse in my main computer area is a G502 of various generations. Two RGB versions, one pre-RGB version. That mouse is AMAZING. Should also mention the braided cord makes it so it is almost impossible to have internal cable breakage, something I had on older mice. Hell, I like the Logitech keyboards too, got G902's.

The Logitech G502 Hero is such an amazing mouse, that I eventually took the next step to get the G502 Lightspeed. And I use the Logitech G305 for work all the time

I actually have that fifth mouse. I've since upgraded to a Glorious Model D now though

Its been almost 2 years with my G305, probably the best mouse i ever had, best value for the price for sure. Careful: After you experience the freedom of a good wireless mouse, cant even think to switch back to wired mouse anymore

It's amazing how G502 is the best selling design since its release (2014). The only changes were RGB, Hero sensor and lightspeed wireless (with some weight reduction but the same shape).

The VicTsing actually makes a ton of sense as #5, given its dirt cheap price and the fact that plenty of people play games - anything from Minecraft to turn-based strategy games to management sims - where precision or latency isn't a major factor. (Hell, for the longest time, I used a garbage HP mouse that came with an old PC for my gaming. The thing didn't even have side buttons, but it was perfectly adequate for the sort of games I was playing at the time.) But I can only assume people are buying that Pictek mouse because they're getting suckered in by the free-merch-inspired high review score.

It's surprising that a Glorious mouse didn't make the list. I wonder if they still don't have widespread brand recognition to put them in contention and/or if the average person just isn't willing to spend $50+ on a mouse that doesn't come from one of the mainstream manufacturers like Logitech and Razer? Personally, I'd take the Glorious Model O over the G502 Hero all day long. I'm actually really surprised the G502 Hero not only made the list but is #1, since it's the most expensive and people clearly like their mice on the cheaper side. I really would've expected the Razer Viper Mini to dominate the list, given it's just a fantastic little gaming mouse and typically an absolute steal at just $30; it's got brand recognition, it's budget friendly, and it has overwhelmingly positive reviews - it's the perfect beginner gaming mouse that's still a viable option for seasoned gamers.

ironically, the infinite scroll wheen is the only thing I wish they would change about the mouse - it feels great in 'infiinte' unlock mode but it also flickers on its own a lot and if you lock it back to the tactile mode, the scroll wheel is one of the hardest and most unpleasant wheel I ever used in a mouse by far, even a cheap 2 buck mouse wheel feel better than that

What a perfect timing as I am planning to purchase one of these (Viper mini/Glorious O minus/ Logitech G502 Hero)

I'm shocked that the Death Adder V2 Mini wasn't on that list. Its really really good and like $20 right now.

I've had many different gaming mouses, but a standard size Razer Viper is still my number 1.
