I use to spin poi with glowsticks way back in the day, then I saw a video of someone doing the folding line move recently and immediately bought a set of contact poi. Time to kick the rust of and start learning again!

Yuta stalls! Awesome! Thanks - I will totally add this to my next choreography. Cool vid. I was always surprised about how people are impressed with the buzzsaws - but hey - I am happy that I have an easy trick to impress an audience. I personally enjoy when there is a lot of dance and aesthetics in the performance - it doesn't have to be difficult. I find tech inspirational "wow! Humans are amazing" but not very pleasurable to watch.

Do love me some buzzsaws, but I do agree, it's kinda basic for a WOW list... What about Butterflies? They always seem to slightly blow people's minds, and I haven't been able to do it yet, but the behind-the-back 3 beat weave has always looked impressive to me.

The first time I picked up glowstrings was at a house party rave thing and this other guy only could do orbitals and it blew the crowd away. I should work on them again as they've left my repertoire having tried to work on improving different tech and flow stuff that left the wrap/airwrap bases

Instantly knew it be orbitals one of the reasons I even wanted a set a poi to begin with lol some what curious how one handed spiral wrap didn't meet that criteria for a wow reaction, maybe it's just me that thinks they look cool.
