Suggestion: If there is an upset, the amount of divisions in between clubs determines the amount of players they gain. (+1)
Ex. If Gillingham beats Tottenham, they gain 4 players. If Norwich defeats Tottenham, they gain 2. If Arsenal wins against them, they get one. I feel this will make it more fair for teams that are worse without giving an unfair advantage.

I think the natural way this works instantly increases the chance of an upset winner. Big teams tend to win more games so end up with bigger territory, but bigger territory means they're likely to play more often and run a higher risk of an upset. Big teams will take each other out, and you'll be left with the smaller teams who were untouched for the whole time

A suggestion: When a team beats another team, they have the chance to take their best player OR upgrade their current best player by two if the new player wouldn’t start for them. It prevents from making unnecessary transfers that would not affect anything and gives the team more of a chance to compete
