I currently am borrowing my sister’s ninja 400, (my bike is in the shop, and my other bikes are dirt bikes) I genuinely do believe it’s a more fun experience than a bigger bike.
I’ve scrapped the pegs on it, dragged my knee, something I wouldn’t do on my own bikes, and that’s crazy to me.

Get a small bike. Always keep a smaller bike.
I promise you. You’ll never regret riding it.

(And thanks for making this vid man. So many squids need to hear it.)

When I was your age, I had every used Kawasaki I could buy for less than $800 to $2000 each. Ninja 600, 750, 1000. GPZ 750, 900, 1100. ZL 600, 900, 1000. Suzuki GS 750, 850, 1000, 1150. GSXR 750, 1100. Honda CBR 600, 1000. Interceptor 750, V65 Magna, CB700S, CB750. Yamaha FJ1100, FJ1200. VMax. Now, 40 years later... 1 Royal Enfield 350.

As someone who lives in a third world country, it's definitely interesting to see someone refer to a 70hp motorcycle as "slow"

Mt09 or Z900 are the best of both worlds! They still have the pull of a 1000cc sport bike but they are way more fun for the street

I daily a literbike. Its loads of fun dont get me wrong. But something about riding my friends 300s and 400s is absolutely amazing to me. Some of the most fun on a bike ive had is on a 300. 100 miles an hour on an R3 feels like mach jesus. Ill do 130 in 4th gear non chalantly on my literbike, no problem. But doing 100, 110 on a tiny little bike is so much more fun I swear, small bikes are great. Looking to get a zx4RR for my track bike next

As someone who has an R6 and an MT-07 I guarantee that the R6 is super fun and exciting, but sometimes the mt 07 with 2 cylinders are so great to ear it and to have fun everywhere

I currently drive a 125cc adventure bike. When I get my bigger license, I wanna get a yamaha r7, which is probably gonna be my forever sportbike. I also wanna get another adventure bike though.

I got a zx-11 after a year on a 650 and I don’t regret it at all. I don’t need to be redlining it to have fun, it’s enough just to know that I’m sitting on a beast when I ride it. It sounds like heaven, comfortable for a tall guy like me, looks sexy, and I can still take it to the twisties even though I’m not pushing it to the limit

I just got a 2009 Yamaha xj6, I do not regret it at all, as an Australian, best learner legal bike ever

I'm looking to get the Yamaha XSR 700 and put Kelpi pipes on it and maybe a small windshield. It feels, to me, how motorcycling should. Plus I love the look of it.

Yep. First bike was 1994 fighter 750 gsxr, then another, then K4 1000, then Z1000 and now 8 years later just got a Street Triple 675R. Best bike so far hands down for streets and even on track fun 👍 you enjoy ~100bhp bikes waaay more than liter bikes with 170-220

I’m a beginner the only experience I’ve had with a bike was during the MSF course and I just bought a Yamaha MT-03. I honestly don’t feel confident in that bike since I am a little shorter and was struggling during the course. I keep telling myself with more practice I’ll get better but I fear I have payed an excessive amount for a bike I’m not ready for

I agree. I only would wish for some more power on the highway but I just ride for fun so it’s mostly twisties and backroads where you don’t need that much power

I am pretty much a daily rider, 17 years going strong, and at one point for about a year I was doing 5-6 hours of technical riding every day. I can concur on this. You want a bike that is a little more than you'll need for 90% of the riding you'll do and nothing heavier or more powerful than that. That way you keep costs down, avoid lugging more weight than you need and can become a much better rider. All this adds up to enjoying riding more and staying safe. That being said, if you have room in your stables and want a monster in there, why not! So far I am happy with more smaller bikes for different purposes. Anything that keeps me reaching for a two wheeled option is a winner.

As a dude Who rides bikes since a can remember, superbikes will always be my thing. But he has a point. For hitting the streets especialy in city you dont need a superbike. And also the superbikes, you want to go fast go on a track you can try to find your límits and see how really good you are

It’s more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow.
