I want to clarify that not all elements accept all the box model properties, inline elements for example ignore the height property when set. inline-block elements however are the optimal choice for wanting the inline behavior while adhering to the box model.

Thank you for your great tutorials! I’m going through all of the videos one by one. You make my life as self-learned student much, much easier. I believe it’s worth to mention it applies only with box-model: content-box;. If we use box model: border-box; we might find it easier to position our content on the page I believe. What do you think about that? And when do you use those properties?
