A preferred scenario of mine to accompany this, pretending that I've stumbled into the Asgard, (or preferred realm of the gods of your choice) after a long journey as a traveler, or that I'm a lost child, and that one of them has found me 😜, taken me in, given me a meal and a bed.

I can't understand their language, but their whispers, to me and to each other, make me feel safe, protected as I lull somewhere between dreaming and waking. Nothing can hurt me in this place.

When I wake up I realize it was all a dream, and I convince myself that an item out of the usual is just a coincidence. An extra blanket lain over me to keep me warm, a feather or coin or something I hadn't left on my nightstand is now present. And that day goes incredibly well, feeling safe and loved, like one of the gods is walking with me, and the soft breeze seems to carry a voice like I've heard in my dreams.
