It's true!! I am seeing more and more antibiotic resistant bacteria in my practice . Scary stuff, in my opinion.

Some of us make sure to eat right and exercise, not take unnecessary risks etc, because we want to enjoy retirement one day...

...but maybe at some point a guy coughs in your direction, and then a few weeks later your doctor tells you your infection is unstoppable.

Dw did a great documentary in the past about pathogens, they showed India where these antibiotics mix with river water and the pathogens in the water are growing resistance

You need to be more proper in back up data and research or not? But it has been known for a long long time that anti bio is one step behind the problem?

So raise the patent protection period for new antibiotics by 5 years and add $5 to the price of each dose. That will make it more profitable for pharma companies to pursue new drugs, and the added cost will make it less interesting for farmers to threat every cattle with it.

I guess, with healthy eating and healthy lifestyle, our bodies can itself build resistance to these AMRs. Nature heals itself and We're part of Mother Nature. But one needs patience.
