Gospel music legend Lee Williams whose group The spiritual QC's have enthralled audiences with their soulful songs for More than five decades died at 75.
His death was announced via his gospel group's page on Monday.

Lee Williams and The Spiritual QC's was an American quartet gospel group originating from Tupelo, Mississippi which has been in existence since 1968. The group started recording around 1970. The gospel quartet included Lee Williams as lead singer, Al Hollis as guitarist and background vocal, Patrick Hollis as background singer, Leonard Shumpert as second lead vocalist, and new full-time bassist Tommie Harris. Lee Williams was the co-lead singer along with Willie Ligon.

I am so very sad to hear that he has passed away I guess sometimes when you still think of the younger days and your mind stuck on being 19 years old you expect him to be around still I cannot express my sorrow but I can't express how much I will miss how much I personally love him I'm a kid to him my uncle who is in his late seventies early eighties introduced me to Lee Williams over 20 years ago and getting sick and was fighting for my life the doctor gave me zero chance to live and he kept me in the hospital about 30 days and I wasn't supposed to walk out of you actually I didn't ambulance took me home I was in my thirties and I'll go play that man's music it lift me off that bed I remember that day my eyes filled up with tears my chest was hurting I wanted to get up that bed so bed and just scream but they kept playing that music and it kept playing it it helped me come back I ain't going to talk about how much trouble I was in but Lord Jesus knew the right music to inspire my spirit and my soul to bring me back to life thank you Mr Williams thank you
