Tip 1 : Don't bash to him and fight him lol

Number 1 most important tip on brig, if you are in a range where rein is in any way threatening you in neutral, you are in the wrong position

Watching you is how I learned to play against Rein and Ram. Also you forgot to mention shield bash into his charge so long as you're within your team so he's stunned.

an actual good tip. When he charges into your team, cancel his charge w/ your own. This will make him vulnerable on your side for 3secs, while your team destroys him

You can also stun rein while he is pinning with your bash. It can allow easy damage on the rein and stop him from pushing your team.

You can also, if possible, rally before his shater to block it from all your team. As a jumping Brig, I always end up shattered 😢

Bonus tip if Rein is charging into your team you can often counterbash him and hell die, be carefull tho, since if its in neutral or enemy space youre gonna die, but if hes close to your backline go for it and hell melt

And in case of 1v1 that for some reason you and the enemy rein are not in the team fight, there are some ways to combat the Reinhardt. Especially an agressive one.

> Bash the Rein Charges, then whipshot them away.
> Bash away if Rein charges if you think Rein is adapting. Jump on right timing can work as it will result to being booped by the charge instead of being Pinned.
> Strafe while consistently moving away at all times. Try to be aware of map environment to avoid being at a corner or getting stuck and map diffed.

Unsure, but happened to me: May be possible to block Rein Ult midair, but the shield has to be angled downwards to successfully block. This can be achieved by looking down. Note given what Brig does with shield is not frame 1 shield, so don't treat it like a Rein shield (frame 1 shield).

Also make sure you're looking directly at the center of rein when he shatters, if you don't you might still get hit.

Is it ever worth to keep tabs on Rein dash to counter bash it (be proactive about it)? Or is just better to simply do it reactively?

surprised you didnt mention whipshot. that, more than shield bash, is the crux of playing against Rein

You can hit Rein while he has the shield up, that way when he puts it down to hit you your teammates can destroy him
