Edit - according to an interview, the guys said they were imagining how much the club scene has changed in this last year and a half, and they were trying to reflect that in the music for this project. Telling someone you need to hold them definitely seems like a very post-Corona sentiment - "It's been too long, let me hug you, dammit!"
