I don't care what color you are. This makes anyone with a soul want to scream out loud for this man. May God bless him as he lives out the rest of his life.

Now charge the people who convicted him despite the obvious photo difference! How the hell do you even take 18 years of your life back? Removing the freedom of an innocent person is absolute torture.
The people responsible for his imprisonment, they need to pay him 18million each! 1 Million for every year he lost.

There’s so many in prison like this. What a damn shame!

This breaks my heart. There’s so many brothers behind bars for crimes that they did not commit-18 years unbelievable I wish this brother nothing but prosperity, peace, and a fruitful life. For the officer to say his gut told him that he had the right person he should be in prison just because of that because you don’t arrest anybody on a gut feeling you need facts before you take 18 years of someone’s life.

"The detective went ahead with the arrest because his gut told him he had the right person."

Good for him that he forgave him and can find peace with all this, but I couldn't. 20 years of my life gone, and who knows how many times he used his "gut" to throw people in jail.

If they haven’t seen anything like this before they must not be looking that hard.

So why did it take 18 years to have the two photos compared in front of a judge?!?! Why wasn’t this looked at and double checked years ago? He better be owed restitution for all these years that he can not take back and he better win a lawsuit for sloppy detective work! Totally unacceptable.

This gentleman is remarkable. The one person who has every right to be angry and bitter, holds himself with so much dignity and class. I hope he is compensated generously, as he rightfully deserves. However, no amount of money will ever be enough for what this man has endured.

I hope you don't just walk ayaw. 18yrs isn't a joke. Someone has to pay you to start your life back. Got convicted because of just a picture that isn't even you & that judge 18 yrs ago was okay with that? Unbelievable.

To be honest, the people that had him wrongfully imprisoned, don't deserve his forgiveness. They need to be held accountable and be punished for their crimes

He should at LEAST be compensated for the time spent so he can live an *easier* life without monetary concern. This is horrible. Wishing him a good rest of his life
