I had that issue with my tomatoes and got rid of it by adding crushed (almost dusted) eggshells. Works like a charm as long as it is very thinly crushed.

We found with our pepper plant farm that getting the plants wet during watering and high humidity also made it worse. We switched to an in soil drip system and it helped alot

All I know is I put tums at the root of my plants and haven’t seen blossom end rot since. We have an irrigation system so we have consistent watering.

Right but misleading...
If you think you have calcium
issues in you soil plant dandelions between your tomatoes. They have deep root that get calcium from deep in the ground and don't disturb the growing of your tomatoes, you can eat the leaf or just cut it and use in your compost.
If the tomato need too much water is because your soil is not balanced and you don't have good mulch. Tomatos don't need much water, often is because you give to much water and you forget to give once they get in trouble.

Yeah, my problem is figuring out what that watering schedule is...

I always get it after a dry period followed by heavy rain, despite my best attempts at consistent watering

Or could be as simple as the blossom did not fall off the end. I have noticed that a lot with my tomatoes. If the blossom is right up but stays attached it causes rot. I don't get it but if I go along and pull those off when they start to dry up I have less rot.

Grew my first tomatoes in over 20 years. I watered the raised bed twice a day. No rot.

Do you mean “let’s bust a gardening tip?” Because you’re saying “let’s bust a guarding tip.” Enunciate.
