Two great values in Ajijic & Chapala, Mexico's favorite spot for expats. The weather is nearly perfect. The restaurants are amazing . The Lake and Mountains are mesmerizing.

The 2nd house is new but it already has moisture issues and probably mold? The big tree in the back yard looks half dead and it's leaning over the house which could be a problem?

I don't get it..? Why is it a lot of the homes have washers & dryers outside but not in enclosed closets or under a covering?

Both are great houses. I do think there is some real value to be realized in these properties. I prefer the second one because the home is really quite large. The location of the first is a HUGE selling point for me. Let me know which one you prefer.

Also, just recently visited San Cristobal de Las Casas and LOVED it! You may want to check it out before buying a place.

My first video of yours, new to your channel, so strange to see so many new Youtube channels coming into our area, we’ve been here for nearly 20 years. Times have changed. Take into consideration that the first property will be a sound property because of it’s age. I’ve never seen that floor plan before so it was interesting. Hah! I’m with you regarding the view of the mountains. I call it Hawaii, as we’re the same latitude as Hawaii, with Mexican prices. The first place needs updating. The blue color in the bathroom is hideous lol La Cristina is considered a bit far out, but it was a beautiful place and moisture/mold (cilitre) issues are easily addressed and ongoing here. CH is growing like crazy! It’s only 30 min to the international airport where as the other location, you’re going to be fighting traffic, ongoing going into Ajijic. CH we can take the libramiento into SAT and miss a lot of Chapala traffic. It’s also 10 degrees cooler in CH. We recently bought a little villa, thinking down the road for our own retirement days and where we would want to be living to get around 20 years from now and gutted the entire place this year. It’s adorable now! My challenge is finding a long term renter, now that we finished. The adult gated community is quiet but rules of no pets narrows down the pool of renters. Short term rentals that accept pets are in highest demand. As a homeowner, I don’t want to have to keep cleaning it for short term. It’s an interesting process, plus, we’re not using a realtor to rent it yet. Have fun exploring!

I’m a New Orleans native who discovered your channel. I’ll be there in March 2023. Do I need to bring you some Camilla red beans or Zatarain mixes? 🤣May look to move there. Will need info.

Dude, you are not good at showing homes. Stand back so we can see the size of the room or what the appliances are. WOW.. Can't recommend your channel
