My dad did his national service their took me to show the many places around he loved a few years before he passed away. I have therefore special memories passed on by my father who I miss very much.

There was a young man from Devizes, who had gonads of differing sizes, one was quite small and weighed not much at all but the other was huge and won prizes…

We are off to the Devizes site soon for three nights. Will definitely try the three magpies pub. Also we travel up to BOAvon by car it's about an hour from where we live. We enjoy a stroll along the canal to the cross guns pub, have lunch & then walk back along the river to the canal trust carpark.

You would think I seen enough of you but no, I had to watch your video 🤣🤣. I noticed how as you left today you mentioned it could now rain and guess what, it did 😳. Thankfully it’s dried up now. That was a really interesting video. We must add those locations to our must visit list. Thanks for sharing.

Great vid - hope you enjoyed your pint of 6x - I’ll have to try the wine encouraging bites theory on my wife - it’ll probably be as successful as you attempt but hey!! 😊

Our satnav took us through Bradford on Avon last weekend when we were en route to Hermanfest. We had a great time and look forward to your Vlog. I use Anthisan cream on bites, stings etc it’s an over the counter cream and really does help. Take care Gill

Nice timing, I'm stopping off there on my way back from The New Forest, .Planning on cycling both directions, Crofton Pumping Station is a must, passed it many times, but never when it was open.

Thanks for vlog Looks like a great place to visit. We had a week near there, stopped in Bath last year, cycled to Bristol but missed this. Definitely worth a return.

Worth visiting Bradford on heritage open days in September. Many of the buildings are open to the public for free then.

I’m just up the road from BOA and it was in the top ten places to live in the UK. Also just a stones through away you have Castle Combe and Lacock, both very old villages worthy of a visit 😀

We were in Bradford and Devizes last week. Had a nice stroll around Bradford on Avon and then lunch at the Lock Inn. Devizes was a bit of a let down as I went mainly to get some 6X from the brewery shop but they wouldn’t honour the online 10% discount so left without buying anything. Went to Caen Locks and had another nice stroll with a nice cream tea at the cafe.

When were you there? You could have called in for a coffee. We're moored at the top of the flight.

Did one of the narrow boats have a ”trailer” with a garden in it?!

Looks nice. But what was the "This is Bull Crap" comment in the thumbnail referring to?

Why is it that Wadwoth is pronounced Wadsworth?
Is it some peculiar English dialect thing?
