He should have made the point that everything was controlled over just the two wires of the CANBUS rather than more than a dozen wires that would have been required without CANBUS.

hello how would i connect individual switches to the can bus to turn lights on and off, are they connected to one of the four controllers

not being able to see how the switches are connected as well as the lights etc makes it very hard to understand and visualize, im building an electric bike and the display, bms, and motor controllers connect together via can bus, but id also like to have handlebar button unit and switches to control lights etc oner the can too but keep getting confused as what needed hardware wise, any help be awesome

what did this teach anyone? that a switch turns on lights? I think I can do this also, when I walk out to my car.

You are basically telling people parts of a car. The only thing you said interesting was controller area network. Rest was junior grade nonsense
