btw, that is probably one of the few knives I am extremely jealous of. That is just perfection. Stag, Kris, Italian, just 100% yes.

There was a switchblade with a "Kris"-style blade like that one in "12 Angry Men" from 1957, of course at the time I watched the film I had no idea why it had a funky looking blade like that, but now I do!

In my business about 2 1/2 years age, I disRmed a 15 year old male that had. Nine inch stiletto on him. Never seeing one before and you'll love this. He walked me through how the knife worked. I liked them at that point. Didn't know much about them. Your review taught me alot more about them. Thanks for sharing.

I've always wondered why on stilettos with stag handles, the scales are never flush with the bolsters .

Back in the 90's when I was driving 18 wheeler's I use to stop at the 205 exit on I 81 in VA. The leverlocks and switchblades on display from WW II ( I THINK ) were not for show. They hade thick blades and were large fighting knives. Most were German or other European designs. They were quality made with real steel throughout. I have yet to find any like them from any seller or on the internet anywhere.

@mkylem423 correct but autops and balis are legl to carry in cali if the blade is less than 2" which this is not

Beautiful. This proves that knives are pieces of art.

the blocky handles are part of what makes them distinct, Italian, s-blade stil-tos, blow my mind all the people bothered by the handles...that's like being bothered by a Harley being loud.

Steel. No complaints here, since this mostly a self defense knife, you'll rarely use it. Just sharpen razor sharp once, put it in your pocket and you're set. But here comes reliability question, will opening mechanism work next time when you'll need that knife open in a matter of seconds?

IMO, not worth the price. Just get a Spyderco, which will open faster than any spring loaded blade, will always work, have better steel and better ergonomics.

These knives are not meant to be sharp. They are for stabbing not cutting. That's why they don't come sharpened. Many fine stilettos have been ruined by over aggressive sharpening.

can I get a link to where i can pick up the black stiletto with the swivel lock. That knife is sexy as hell.

Nice Beltrame! by the way the blade with the partial swedge grind is called a bayonet style. A blade with a  full double grind but only one sharpened is the stiletto. Keep up the great videos and I agree with you about the quality of the Beltrame lines.

They are legal to own in most states but carry is restricted in some. The restrictions may be to military and law enforcement only or you may only be allowed to carry a certain sized one.

@UndeadXxXPixels if you dotn have much to spend look into the schrade fixed blades, they have a model thats awesome for the money but thats only if your looking for something cheap, when someone doesnt say high end I think they dont have $400 to spend on it...

Did you flatten/grind the trigger/release button on your swinguard F Beltrame yourself or did it come that way? It looks really good!
Anyway, Italian stiletto knives aren't meant to be super-sharp because they aren't made to be used as utility knives. They're made for stabbing. They're designed as weapons, not tools.

spring assisted folders are legal almost everywhere this is not spring assisted this is an automnatic knife and illegal to carry more places than not the blade length isnt an issue with this one

That's some very nice stag! I actually like the blocky/squared off look of natural stag scales. I do have a few non-auto knives with tapered stag handles, and they do look badass as well. Thanks for posting.

Frank Beltrame stilettos and kris's with the swinguards are very high quality, and the action is extremely smooth. i personally recommend the swinguards more than the regular switches

Last year I actually had a 9" Frank B with kriss blade. Only one I've owned, beautiful knife.
