I've just got set up with 2 turntables and a DJM450 mixer. My goodness mixing vinyl is so hard, but so worth it. I thought I appreciated sets like this before - but now having tried, failed, and tried again to mix vinyl, I truly appreciate the talent that goes into just one smooth transition, let alone an entire set of them!

Even the cat enjoys it! It's great to that vinyl is still alive. I used to "scratch" in the 1990's with vinyl...great to see the "younger" generations keeping vinyl alive. Nice mix set!

Amelie is amazing (saw her live on Apgrade in Belgrade and I got hooked up, one of the most amazing sets and she was for me the best set on the night even thow she played after Papa Sven Vath) but I gotta love the cat being a cat:P he didnt move even when she need a new vinyl hahaha. Is great to see some new blood at techno and it's so refreshing that after 20 years listening techno there are still new DJs that show up and deliver the goods and make me love and renew my strenghts to keep partying hard in the dancefloor:)

Ah the finesse in handling vinyls, cleaning records from dust to prevent skipping of the needle, blowing off that one pesky dust particle, reminds me when I was young and had the time to do it every day and really miss it :( Love to see that a young talent still can master the skills to perfectly beatmix one record in to the other!! Lovely set Amelie, great to watch BIG fan!! xxx
